I think this letter from Tom pretty much says it all. This is why I love this dog.
Hi Judy Just wanted to let you know that everything is great with us. I've owned alot of good dogs but Blue is the best and smartest. You ownly have to show him once and he (most of the time) has it down.
Blue does not have a mean bone in his body. It's so good to go some where and everybody falls in love with him. Boy does he eat that up. In his short life so far he has done and been places that any dog (and man too) would envey! He has hiked the great mountains of Montana, He has hiked and swam in the best hot springs that flow into the fabulous Idaho panhandle rivers. He has visited his roots. Ran and swam in the same fields and creeks as his forefathers of Oregon. He has played tag with the ocean waves and acted like a gymnast in the sands on the coast of Oregon and Californa. He has hiked among the giant red woods and pee'd on some of the tallest of trees of Californa. He has hiked to the outskirts of Az. and seen long lost indian ruins. He has sniffed ancient pottery(800-1000yrs old)and looked at indian pictograghs of more than 5000 yrs old. He has been to the rim of the Grand Canyon and played in the snow. These are but a few of the many places that Blue has visited. I'm sure glad that he let me go with him. Later Tom
